1- AUTOMATION ENGINEER 

The automation engineer is in charge of the studies for new projects and customer service entrusted to him/her, from the kick-off meeting through to validation by the end customer. He will carry out these studies in compliance with the Engineering process on the one hand, and the quality of his deliverables on the other. All his actions must be geared towards customer satisfaction.

Responsabilities

  • Propose solutions to development problems, and to this end monitor new technologies, tools and equipment.
  • Work alongside an expert on flexible machines, magnetic conveyors and robotics, and integrate them into a Serac machine.
  • Set up and program test benches for the team and other departments.
  • Work in collaboration with the HMI team and the rest of the automation team to work on I4.0 topics involving the feedback of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic consumption data.

2- ELECTROMECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

As part of new projects or customer service projects, the Electromechanical technician assembles and fine-tunes packaging machines and/or their sub-assemblies and peripherals, in accordance with the rules of the trade and current regulations.

Responsabilities

  • Carry out mechanical and pneumatic assembly of new machines from drawings
  • Wiring machines from an electrical diagram
  • Set up tools for bottle circulation in machines
  • Participate in powering up and tuning up machines
  • Participate in customer acceptance and dismantling of machines prior to shipment

3- FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Intervene on Serac and partner equipment to ensure customer satisfaction during installations, modifications, maintenance or troubleshooting at our customers’ various sites worldwide.

Responsabilities

  • Troubleshoot customer calls
  • Technical support for on-site colleagues and subsidiaries
  • Assist sedentary technicians and carry out pre-assembly of customer service orders; search for spare parts references.
  • Preparing technicians to work on site
  • Update machine files (electrical and pneumatic diagrams, computer programs)
  • Customer training (operators and maintenance)
