Coronavirus & Us – Update – Monday 20 April

Since April 20th, we have been gradually resuming our machine assembly activity at our 5 production sites after several weeks of slowdown, where priority was given to assisting customers in the food and health sectors.

Our employees in the engineering departments and our project managers, who have been working remotely for several weeks, have moved our customers’ projects forward. Our buyers place orders from their home to our suppliers who promised us that the parts would be on time. Thanks to them.
Our ability to provide our employees with the essential protection of masks and visors and the implementation of a sanitary protocol were the two prerequisites that had to be met before we could consider resuming assembly activity at our various sites.

The very first hours of the resumption were devoted to training employees in the health measures put in place to ensure a safe return to work.
The recovery was gradual. However, as of Monday, April 27, our workforce in the workshops and stores is at or close to full capacity. In any case, we are limiting the number of people present on each site by working with teams on staggered shifts.
